How to Become a Vendor

Would you like to sell your unique, new or gently used products on Garage Sale Gurus? We're excited to partner with you! Here's a step-by-step guide to becoming one of our valued vendors and earn money for things that you have just laying around the house and want to get rid of.

Step 1: Submit Your Vendor Request: To begin, please go to our "Contact Us" page and send a brief inquiry to express your interest in becoming a vendor. Once we receive your inquiry we will email you a Vendor Assessment Form. Once completed, please email the completed form back with atleast 2 pictures of examples of products that you would like to sell.

Step 2: Vendor Fee and Product Limit: Please view our "Vendor Package Options" page to see all of our package options. We have packages that start as low as $15 to list 10 items.

Step 3: Contract Agreement: Once we receive and review your vendor request, we will send you an email with a contract agreement. Please sign and return this document to us.

Step 4: Product Listing: Upon approval of your vendor agreement, your items will be added to the site within 5 business days. This allows us time to edit and adjust the pictures if needed and create an award winning description of each item. Each vendor will be allowed to create a unique store name, which will be displayed under the picture and price of your products. 

 

 

Marketing Your Products

To help you sell your products, Garage Sale Gurus actively promotes our site across all major marketing and social media platforms. We work to drive traffic to the site and get your items in front of as many potential buyers as possible.

 

Pricing and Sales Pricing

As a vendor, you will set the prices for your items. We are happy to assist you in determining a fair price if you need help.

 

Price Negotiation

If we feel a price is too high or too low, we will work with you to negotiate a better price to help ensure your item sells.


Merchandise 

We allow the sell of any slightly used or new products. If you are selling clothes or shoes we kindly ask that you please make sure they are not soiled or stained prior to offering them for sell. If you are selling home decor we ask that you please wipe any dust particles from the items before sending them to the customer. Please package all items securely. We do not allow the sell of liquids, drug related items, temperature controled food, or large items that must be picked up such as sofas, cars, washing machines, etc.

 

Order Notification

When one of your items sells, we will notify you via email. We will also provide you with the customer's name and shipping address.

 

Shipping Deadline

You must ship the item to the customer within 1-3 days of receiving the order notification. Orders not shipped within this timeframe may be canceled and the payment may be returned back to the customer. If you are on vacation or in a situation where you are unable to ship merchandise within 3 days please contact us immediately and we can temporarily disable your products from our website. When shipping to customers you may use your own address or the Garage Sale Gurus' business address as the return address.

 

Customer Awareness & Vendor Reimbursement

Customers will be made aware that the item they are purchasing is from a third party vendor and not directly from Garage Sale Gurus. This information will be displayed on our website under your product photo.Reimbursement: You are responsible for the initial packaging and shipping fees to ship the item to your customer. However, once the item is delivered to the customer, (as confirmed by the tracking number that you will be required to provide to us), you will be reimbursed for both the shipping cost and the money earned from the sale of your item. We reimburse all vendors via Paypal so you must have an active Paypal account to receive payment. We pay all vendor payouts the day after the item that you sold is shown as delivered.
